At Grazings, we combine the best of good old-fashioned Tasmanian hospitality with the best of our state’s produce, grown right here on-site. Our spacious restaurant isn’t your typical reconstructed barn eatery either. With locally sourced timber features, bespoke lighting and abundant glazing our modern space allows you to take in our vast paddocks, mesmerising your every mood while you dine in perfect comfort. Why dine at Grazings?

Why not is the real question. On a remote slice of Tasmanian paradise, you’ll encounter what it is to enjoy a true, paddock to plate experience. With nearly all of our ingredients sourced from our farm and extensive market garden, you’ll be in for the feast of a lifetime. Prepare yourself for a conscious, gastronomic adventure paired with local wines, craft brews, and spirits. Best finished with a tour around our farm, for good measure of course.

Why the name?

Both our family and our animals are quite fond of grazing the day away, so the name made sense for a restaurant perched on top of farmland. There is a bit of magic to the art of grazing too in terms of health benefits. If you graze’ regularly throughout the day the body has less metabolic mischief to get into. In a science-made-simple nutshell, grazing promotes stable insulin levels—three magic words for good health.
